From Concept to Kitchen to YOUR TABLE

About Us

In the fall of 2012, we were rolling around ideas of things that we could do together as a family.  A friend suggested prepared frozen meals as a possibility, and we latched onto that idea. After lots of hard work, experimenting with food and developing a commercial kitchen, we were ready to sell our product in the spring of 2013. Most of our recipes are food that we enjoy as a family and would fall in the comfort food category.

Arno wears a lot of hats in the business. He does the smoking, grilling and fries lots of meat. Filling the delivery orders, running the delivery route every week, buying the groceries weekly, ordering supplies, restocking the freezers in preparation for the weekly Farmer’s Market (in season) and manning that Market are some of the things that keep him busy.

Linda decides which items come on/off the menu, figures out what food needs to be produced each week and does the bookkeeping. She helps at the Saturday market part of the time.

We also have 3 part-time employees who produce an amazing amount of food every week. Without their hard work the business couldn’t survive, and we truly appreciate what they do.

When you’re wanting homemade taste, but don’t have the time to start from scratch, we can help out. Our goal is to provide quality home style food that is safely prepared and tastes great!

HOW TO ORDER ONLINE

For home delivery or to meet us at one of our pick-up locations, place your order by midnight Tuesday and we’ll deliver on Thursday.

Delivery options:

  • Home (delivery fee)
  • Atwood parking lot (Hutchinson)
  • 500 Main Place, Newton (first Thursday of each month)
  • Green Acres parking lot (21st and Maize, Wichita)
  • Green Acres parking lot (21st and Rock Rd., Wichita)
  • Pick up at Kansas Grown Farmer’s Market

On Wednesday forenoon we’ll reach out to you concerning the timing of your delivery.

THURSDAY DELIVERY

We give a one-hour time slot for the Thursday delivery. If you’re unable to be home at that time, please let us know. One option is to put a cooler on the porch. For pick-up orders, we’ll give a specific time.
